Residents of Richardson can visit a post office and apply for a US passport. In fact, there are three post offices in Richardson that will accept applications. If you wish to visit one in the Dallas County, there are eighteen post offices to choose from. The choice would be yours. Richardson Post Offices

In Richardson, there are three post offices. The first is 400 N Coit Road Suite 1975 and the operating hours are 10:00 am to 4:00 pm, Monday through Friday. The second is at 433 Belle Grove Drive and the hours are 8:30 am to 5:00 pm, Monday through Friday. It is also open on Saturday from 9:00 am to noon. The third is at 1206 Apollo Road and its hours are 8:30 am to 5:00 pm.

Passport Services at the Post Office

At the post office, your application can be processed in two ways. Routine or normal processing takes 4-6 weeks after the application is received at the post office. The time can increase during high peak or severe weather in the region. This option is best if you are not in a rush for your document. As well as it is the cheapest. The other option is expedited processing which can take 2-3 weeks after submission. This option is best for applicants who cannot wait four weeks.
