Allure of the Seas is owned by Royal Caribbean and wears the crown as the largest cruise ship ever built. The ship fits 5,400 people plus a 3,000 member maintenance crew. The engineering of the ship is revolutionary. The layout makes you feel one with the sea. All of the cabins and restaurants are open and not cover inside of a larger building.

Allure of the Seas Amenities

There’s a family boardwalk in the center, structured to feel like Coney Island. Attached to the boardwalk is a family ice cream parlor and candy shop, a Mexican restaurant, a hot dog stand, a burger joint, and a miniature carnival with fortune tellers and games. The main attraction of the boardwalk is the Aqua Theater. This rings around a large freshwater pool that hosts shows such as synchronized swimming, acrobatics, aerialism, and high diving. When there is not a show going on, the pool is used for swimming and scuba diving lessons.

Baby Sitting is Available

If you chose Allure of the Sea to be a family cruise, you will want to stay in one of the 225 balcony cabins along the Boardwalk. This is the space most accommodating to young families. If you have babies aboard, Royal Babies & Royal Tots nursery is a great place for them to play. It is close to the cabins. For older kids, there is a video arcade, a science lab, and Imagination Studio right around the corner.

For adults traveling without kids, a specific area of the ship is reserved just for you! Known as “Central Park”. This section hosts tropical gardens and an adult atmosphere. There are restaurants, cafes, wine bars, and sports bars. The Entertainment Place is where you will enjoy live music from famous performers with genres ranging from disco to jazz. Do not feel like dancing? A comedy club and a huge casino are also located in the same area.

In between meals and relaxing stretches under the sun, there is a fitness center. You can do yoga classes, go to a spa, or relax in river-like pools that swirl into calming islands. There is also a water park and a sports zone with any game you can imagine.

Staterooms

The rooms have 13 different suite categories ranging from junior suits to loft suites. The loft suites sit at the very top of the ship with views of the endless sea and extra large balconies.
