In 2012, Carnival announced the newest addition to its luxury cruise line as the Breeze made its debut voyage. Weighing a stunning 130,000 tons, the ship carries up to 3,690 passengers and features amenities offered by the company’s $500 million Fun-Ship-2.0 projects.

When it comes to activities, this cruise line has more than you could ask for. Adults looking to enjoy a night-out experience while aboard the ship can venture out to the Liquid Nightclub. A Piano Bar is available to those looking for a quieter musically-theme night out. Cloud 9 Spa and the Serenity Adult Retreat make for a relaxing addition to any voyage. The Seaside Theater offers “dive in” movies, complete with blankets and popcorn.

The Carnival Breeze is a complete family cruise ship, too. Deck 11 features a massive play area for children aged 2 to 11 called Camp Carnival. Separate areas for Tweens (ages 12-14) and Teens (ages 15-17) include Wii video games, dance-floors, and more. Other children activities include Seuss at Sea, Camp Ocean, and Night Owls.

For those looking to get a little wet on their voyage, the Carnival Breeze does not disappoint. The ship presents its own onboard water park, the aptly-named “Waterworks.” The ship features water slides such as the Drainpipe and Twister, the PowerDrencher dump bucket, three pools, seven hot tubs, and a “spray-ground.” Knowing fun in the sun is not all water-based, the ship also offers the SportsSquare. This includes a 230-foot rope course, a jogging track, sports court, foosball, and two-level miniature golf course all built in.

An all-inclusive fun in the sun adventure, the Breeze perfectly combines luxury with a family cruise atmosphere. With cruise prices ranging from $400 to $1,600 per person, there is absolutely no reason not to book your cruise now.
