Am I able to receive extra pages when I renew my passport?

Question:  I travel very often and conduct business in many different countries around the world. Is there any way that I can renew my passport before it expires and add extra pages? I will more than likely be using all the pages available in my current passport before it expires. Am I able to receive extra pages when I renew my passport?  Will there be any additional fees that correspond with more Visa pages? Any help will be very much appreciated.

Answer:  The best approach in this case would be to apply for the addition of visa pages to your existing passport. You will receive 24 pages as that is the standard amount with a new passport. However, if needed, you can request 48 pages. It costs $28 less to add pages to an existing passport as opposed to renewing a passport for $110.
