The Miami Passport Agency is located in The OMNI Center 1501 Biscayne Blvd in Miami, Florida. This government agency would be able to expedite your passport application. Occasionally an emergency, such as the illness of a loved one, requires a sudden trip overseas.

Eligibility

• If you are planning to apply, make sure that your international travel is within 14 calendar days. If you have already applied, your international travel should be within 5 calendar days.
• You must be able to provide physical evidence of your international travel, such as printed copies of your flight itinerary, hotel reservation, cruise tickets, or proof of international car insurance.
• You need to pay an additional $60 for expedited processing, along with the regular application fees.

To set up an appointment with the Miami Passport Agency, you will need to call the State Department Automated Scheduling System at 1.877.487.2778 to set up an appointment.

To get help from the Miami Passport Agency, you will need to provide your travel plans showing that you will be traveling within the next 14 days.

The Miami Passport Agency is open Monday to Friday from 7 A.M. to 2 P.M. And closed on Federal Holidays.  When visiting the Miami Passport Agency you will need to wear a face covering.

What To Bring

You will need to bring your passport application, passport form for applying in person, proof of United States citizenship, travel plans, valid photo identification, and photocopy of photo identification as specified by the local agency website.

The accepted method of payment is to pay the fees for the passport and a passport photo as specified on the website of the local passport agency.

When You Arrive:

When you arrive, you will be asked for your social security number or a confirmation number. You will not be permitted to sit in the queue if you arrive more than 15 minutes early or more than 15 minutes late. For this reason, it is important that you are prompt.

The building has a metal detector and security screening. By law, weapons are not permitted in the building. It is recommended that you leave unnecessary belongings at home to make this process go smoother.

Once you have checked in, you will be asked to wait in the queue. When you check-in, you will need to have your travel plans available. Not all local agencies require travel plans, but the Miami agency does.

It is important that you bring your travel information with you, as specified by the agency website. If you do not have it, you will not be able to proceed.
