The Assumption College Study Abroad Rome program allows students to pay Assumption tuition, apply financial aid, and even has Assumption instructors at their Rome Campus though they can learn here by firsthand experiences. The curriculum includes weekly excursions to museums and monuments within the city as well as to the surrounding countryside cities such as Ostia Antica, Tivoli, Castel Gandolfo or Subiaco.
In addition to the explorations within the city walls of Rome, every semester students and faculty take overnight trips to other Italian cities such as Florence, Pompei, and Naples to name a few. The best part is that these trips are included in the Rome Campus tuition and are integrated into the curriculum. It’s no wonder that after only two years of being in operation that this program was one of the “10 Best Study Abroad Programs in America” by an independent college rankings journalist.
