Liechtenstein Visa – How To Apply For A Liechtensteiner Visa

GENERIC VISA INFORMATIONHave you been thinking about a trip to Liechtenstein? You will not need to obtain a Liechtenstein visa in order to travel to Liechtenstein. Though you will not need s visa, you will need to verify that your current United States passport is in order and ready for travel to Liechtenstein.

A United States passport that is valid for at least three months after departure from Liechtenstein will suffice under the rules and requirements of the Schengen Agreement. It is important that this guideline is met, otherwise your trip may be cut short or you will be denied entry into Liechtenstein.

It is recommended that six months validity after your intended stay in a country should be on your passport when you leave that country. Though Liechtenstein only requires 3 month validity, other countries that share a border with Liechtenstein may require 6 months validity. Be sure to double check these requirements before you travel to any bordering countries of Liechtenstein.

It is also important to keep in mind that you will need to keep blank visa pages in your passport book when you are traveling abroad. The recommended amount of visa pages that should be left blank in your passport book is (2). The more blank visa pages, the better of a position you will be in when traveling abroad.

Lastly, if you will be traveling to Liechtenstein via air and you have to stop in another country to connect to another flight, you might need to obtain a transit visa. We recommend that you inquire about your flight specifics with your travel agent or  airline company you have booked your flight with.

NOTE: If you stay longer than you are allowed, you may have to pay a fine or, in some cases, you will be banned from the entire Schengen Territory for a period of 6 months.
