Mauritius Visa – Visa & Travel Requirements for a Mauritian Visa
Updated As of

Have you been thinking about taking a trip to Mauritius? If so, you will not need to obtain a Mauritius visa in order to travel to Mauritius for up to 3 months. Your passport will have to be up to date and in order, however. Keep the following guidelines in mind regarding your passport. Following these guidelines will ensure that you do not have any complications with your travel.
Check passport validity – All tourists to Mauritius will need a passport that is valid for at least 3 months after they depart Mauritius. The optimal amount of validity time that should be left on your passport when you depart a country is about 6 months, this way you can travel to bordering countries without any issues or problems.
Blank visa pages – Mauritius along with many other countries require a minimum of two blank visa pages in your passport book when you arrive and depart Mauritius. This will allow for any required stamps that will need to be stamped in your passport during your travel. After arriving in Mauritius, immigration officers will stamp an entry stamp in your passport book to keep track of how many days you have been in the country.
Transit Visa – Sometimes a transit visa is obligatory when traveling to a country on a layover flight. Countries that your flight stops at overseas may need to see a transit visa when travelers are connecting flights. Verify the specifics of your flight with your airline company before your trip to Mauritius.
