Nigeria Visa – How to Apply for A Nigerian Visa

Is Nigeria your next destination? If so, you will need to obtain a Nigeria Visa in order to visit Nigeria. Requirements for Nigerian Visa for U.S. Citizens

Also, your passport should be up to date before you travel to Nigeria. Your passport should have at least 6 months validity, as well as a minimum of (2) blank visa pages to accommodate for visa stamps. To obtain a tourist Nigeria visa, your documents need to include:

  • Nigeria Visa Application Form
  • U.S. Passport Book with at least 6 months validity
  • Passport Photo
  • Itinerary of your Trip
  • Bank Statement to provide proof of sufficient funds
  • Documentation of Nigeria Visa you  have obtained previously.

To obtain a business visa, you should provide everything needed for a tourist visa with the exception of a bank statement. A Business letter, and Business invitation will replace the bank statement. A business invitation should include an introduction of the applicant, the nature of the business that will be conducted on the trip, and state the type of visa and preferred validity length. The same will apply for a business letter with one more requirement. You will have to prove sufficient funds for your traveling purposes with a business letter. Both the letter and invitation should be written on the company’s letter head that you are working for.
