Does Syria sound like your next destination for travel? A Syria visa is necessary for business and tourism purposes. Syria offers single entry visas, as well as double entry visas for business and tourism purposes. Travelers that stay more than 15 days in Syria will need to register with the Syrian Immigration officials by or before the 15^th day. Also, your passport should be valid and up to date before you go on your trip to Syria. We recommend that your passport have a minimum of 6 months validity on it after your planned departure from Syria, as well as a minimum of (2) blank visa pages to accommodate for any necessary visa stamps. If these requirements regarding your passport are not met, you may be denied entry. 

Syria Visa Requirements

For a tourist Syria visa, your documents should include a Syrian visa application form, an original, sign United States passport, (2) approved passport photographs, a program of your trip and make sure that there are not any traces of travel to Israel prior to traveling to Syria, as this can cause complications.

For a business Syria visa, your documents should include everything necessary in order to obtain a tourist visa with the addition of a business invitation. A business invitation should be written on the company letterhead, and addressed to “The Consulate of Syria, Visa Section.” The business invitation should have an introduction of the applicant, the nature of the business being conducted, and the type of visa along with desired validity length.

Has Sudan been on your travel list? If so, you will have to obtain a Sudan visa in order to travel to Sudan for business and tourism purposes. Also, when you depart Sudan, you will need to pay a departure fee which will not be included in your airline ticket. If your entry visa is expired when it is time to depart Sudan, usually you will not be able to obtain a departure visa. In addition, you should have a valid and up to date passport when traveling to Sudan, without traces of prior travel to Israel. Your passport should have a minimum of (2) blank visa pages, as well as a minimum of 6 months validity left on it after you depart Sudan.

Requirements For a Sudan Visa

For a tourist Sudan visa, your documents will have to include, a Sudan visa application form, an original, signed United States passport with at least 6 months validity, (1) passport photograph, an schedule of your trip, a bank statement to prove sufficient funds, an approval letter from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Sudan, and a Letter of Invitation that is approved by Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Sudan.

For a business Sudan Visa, your documents should include everything needed for a tourist visa with the exception of a Letter of Invitation. Instead, of a Letter of Invitation, you will have to include a Business Letter. A business letter should contain an introduction of the applicant, the type of business that will be conducted on the trip, state the type of visa needed along with preferred validity length, and you will also have to prove sufficient funds for your traveling purposes.

If you will be staying in Sri Lanka for more than 30 days, you will need to send in documentation to obtain a visa for a stay of more than 30 days in Sri Lanka. Your documents will need to include a Sri Lanka visa application form, your original, signed United States passport with at least 6 months validity, (2) passport photographs, an itinerary of your trip, a current bank statement, and a Personal Letter from the applicant to the Embassy of Sri Lanka explain the purpose and details of the trip.

If traveling to Sri Lanka on business, you will need to provide a Sri Lanka visa application form, your original, signed United States passport with at least 6 months validity, (2) passport photographs, an itinerary of your trip, a business letter, and a business invitation. A Business Invitation should include an introduction of the applicant, describe the nature of the business, and the type of visa and requested validity length. A Business Letter will contain the same information as a Business Invitation, with the addition of the proof of sufficient funds.

Will you be traveling to South Sudan? If so, you will need to obtain a South Sudan visa for business and tourism purposes before you can travel to South Sudan. Also, you should make sure that you a passport that is valid and up to date before you travel to South Sudan. Your passport should have a minimum of (2) blank visa pages to allow for visa stamps, and a minimum of 6 months validity left on your passport after you depart South Sudan. Also, your passport should not have any trace of previous travel to Israel, as this may cause issues when traveling to South Sudan.

Currently, we do not have the exact requirements that are necessary for a South Sudan visa. However, we can provide you with documents that are usually asked for when applying for a visa. The documents that are usually requested are a South Sudan visa application form, your original, signed United States passport with a minimum of 6 months validity, (2) passport photographs, an itinerary of your trip, and proof of a yellow fever vaccination. In addition, you should provide a copy of your hotel reservations with the applicant’s name on the reservation for the hotel, or if residing with family or friends a notarized letter of invitation from them is mandatory.

If you need to obtain a business visa, your documents should include everything mentioned for a tourist visa with the addition of a business letter or business invitation. Both the letter and invitation should be written on the company’s letterhead that you are employed with. The letter and invitation should describe the applicant, state the type of business that is going on, declare the desired visa and validity length, and prove sufficient funds for the trip.

Are you and your family going to Turkey? If so, you will need to obtain a Turkey visa for tourism, business, and official purposes. Official visas will be a single entry visa, while business and tourism visas will be multiple entry visas. Also, you should make sure that your passport is up to date and in order before your trip to Turkey. Your passport should have a minimum of 6 months validity when traveling to Turkey to avoid any issues. As of current, Turkey requires travelers to have a passport that is valid for a minimum of 2 months after their visa expires. In addition, your passport should have a minimum of (2) blank visa pages when your travel to Turkey. A transit visa may be required as well when connecting flights in another country. Some countries will require travelers to provide a transit visa when they are connecting flights in that country, be sure to double check the specifics of your flight.

For business and tourism visas, all travelers must obtain their passports electronically before they depart their countries of residence. Turkey’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs no longer provides visas upon arrival to any foreign traveler.

To obtain an official visa, your documents should include a Turkey visa application form, an original, signed United States passport, (1) approved passport photograph and a State Department Letter that states the purpose of the trip, travel dates, applicant’s name, and passport number. It should be addressed to the “Embassy of Turkey, Washington, D.C.”

Does Tunisia sound like your next travel destination? A Tunisia visa will not be needed for tourism, business, and official purposes for up to 4 months. If you wish to stay longer than 4 months, you can file for an extension of stay which will come in the form of a residence permit. You can apply for a residence permit at the central police station of the district. In addition, you will need to provide a passport that is in order and up to date. To ensure your passport is in order and up to date, you should follow the guidelines that are listed before to avoid any issues from arising.

Passport Validity- When traveling to Tunisia your passport should have at least 6 months validity left on it after your departure from Tunisia. Passport validity will vary from country to country, so we recommend 6 months validity to ensure that your trip to Tunisia is free of travel issues.

Blank Visa Pages- Your passport should have a minimum of (2) blank visa pages. This will allow for Tunisia Immigration official to stamp any visa stamps that will be necessary during your trip to Tunisia. Lacking the sufficient amount of visa pages may cause issues to arise at the port of entry into Tunisia.

Transit Visa- A transit visa will be needed at times if you will be connecting flights in a country that requires a transit visa. Some countries will require a transit visa when travelers are connecting flight in that country. Ask your airline provider about the specifics of your flight.

Are Trinidad and Tobago the next stop on your vacation list? If so, you will not need to obtain a Trinidad and Tobago visa to travel there on tourism and business purposes for up to 3 months. Though Trinidad and Tobago is in the Caribbean, a passport card alone will not be sufficient to provide as a travel document when entering Trinidad and Tobago or the United States. You will have to carry your passport with you when traveling to Trinidad and Tobago. You should make sure that your passport is in order and up to date before your trip to Trinidad and Tobago to avoid running into any difficulties. Below are some guidelines that should be followed regarding your passport.

Passport Validity- Your passport should have a minimum of 6 months validity remaining on it after your intended departure from Trinidad and Tobago. This will ensure that you have no difficulties when traveling to Trinidad and Tobago or to any neighboring islands.

Blank Visa Pages- You passport should have at least (2) blank visa pages before your travel to Trinidad and Tobago. This will allow for Trinidad and Tobago Immigration official to stamp the necessary stamps into your passport book. Failure to provide adequate blank visa pages can cause difficulties at the port of entry.

Transit Visa- A transit visa will be needed, in some cases, when connecting flights. Some countries will require travelers to provide a transit visa while connecting flights in that country. Be sure to discuss your flight details with your airline company.

Will you be traveling to Tonga on your next trip? If that is the case, you will not need to obtain a Tonga visa in order to travel to Tonga for up to 1 month for business and tourism purposes. Travelers to Tonga will need to provide proof of an onward ticket from Tonga, and proof of adequate funds for their duration of stay in Tonga. Also, a valid passport that is up to date and in order will be needed to avoid any travel issues. Below are some guidelines you should adhere to in regards to your passport before traveling to Tonga.

Passport Validity- Your passport should be valid for a period of 6 months after your expected departure from Tonga. Some countries may require less validity time, but we recommend that there be 6 months validity to avoid any difficulties if you wish to travel to neighboring countries.

Blank Visa Pages- You will need a minimum of (2) blank visa pages. This will accommodate and visa stamps that are necessary during your travel to Tonga. Failure to have the minimum requirement of blank visa pages can result in issues at the port of entry.

Transit Visa- A transit visa will be required if you will be connecting flights in a different country. At times, certain countries may ask for a transit visa when traveling to that country on a connecting flight. Ask your airline provider or your travel agent about the specific details of your trip to Tonga.

Will you and your family be traveling to Timor Leste for your next trip? A Timor Leste visa will be needed to travel to Timor Leste one tourism or business purposes. You will not obtain the tourist visa prior to arriving in Timor Leste, but you will have to purchase a tourist visa when you arrive in Timor Leste. If traveling into Timor Leste by land, you will need to obtain your visa prior to entering at Timor Leste’s port of entry. Also, you will have to make sure that your passport is valid and up to date before your trip. Your passport should have a minimum of (2) blank visa pages, as well as a minimum of 6 months validity after departing Timor Leste.

For a Timor Leste tourist visa, you will have to provide a Timor Leste visa application form, an original, signed United States passport, (1) passport photograph, a current bank statement, proof of return ticket, if your host will pay for your expenses, then a sponsorship form is needed.

If traveling on business, you will need to obtain a business visa. Currently, we don’t have the exact documents necessary for a business Timor Leste visa, however, we can provide with what is typically asked for. You will have to provide everything mentioned for a Timor Leste tourist visa plus a business letter or business invitation.
