Qatar Visa – How To Apply For A Qataris Visa

GENERIC VISA INFORMATIONDo you have a trip to Qatar in mind? You will have to obtain a Qatar visa before you are allowed to travel to Qatar. In addition, you will need to make sure that your passport is up to date and meets the guidelines for travel to Qatar.

In regards to obtaining a Qatar Visa, your documents should include, a Qatar visa application form, your signed United States passport with at least 6 months validity, (2) passport photographs, and an itinerary of your trip. Also, you should provide a copy of your hotel reservations with the applicants name on the reservation for the hotel, or if staying with family or friends a notarized letter of invitation from them is required. Lastly, in some cases, a personal letter from the visa candidate addressing the Embassy of Qatar may be needed. The personal letter should include the reason for the trip, cities that will be visited, traveling dates, and places where you will be staying at.

If traveling to Qatar on business, you will have to provide one more piece of documentation in addition to the documentations mentioned above. A business letter should include an introduction of the applicant, the nature of the business that will be conducted on the trip, state the type of visa needed along with preferred validity length, and you will also have to prove sufficient funds for your traveling purposes. The business letter that you provide should be written on the company’s letter head that you are working for.

If working on a project that is under contract with the United States Government, you will have to provide a U.S. Agency Letter as well. This letter should be addressed to the “Embassy of Qatar, Washington, D.C.” and should explain your reason for travel, length of stay, and traveling dates. This letter will have to be provided in addition to a business letter.
