Senegal Visa – How To Apply For A Senegalese Visa

Have you been planning a trip to Senegal? Fortunately, you will not need to obtain a Senegal Visa in order to travel to Senegal for up to 3 months. If you are traveling from a country that has yellow-fever endemic, you will have to provide proof of a yellow fever vaccine. Also, you will need to ensure that your current passport is valid and up to date before your trip to Senegal. This will ensure that you do not face any difficulties when you are traveling to Senegal. Below is a list of guidelines that should be followed regarding your passport.

Passport Validity- You passport should be valid for a minimum of 6 months after you depart Senegal. Though some countries require less validity time, 6 months of validity will keep you in the clear when traveling to other countries that border Senegal.

Blank Visa Pages- You will need to provide Senegal immigration officials with a minimum of (2) blank visa pages to ensure you do not run into any issues. This will allow for any necessary visa stamps to be put into your passport book without any interference.

Transit Visa- At times, a transit visa will be required on connecting flights. If your flight will be stopping in a different country en route to Senegal, you may need to obtain a transit visa for that country. We recommend that you speak with your airline provider or travel agency to clarify the specific details of your flight.
