Slovak Republic Visa – How To Apply For A Slovakian Visa
Will you or a family member be traveling to the Slovak Republic? You will not need to acquire a Slovak Republic visa in order to travel to the Slovak Republic for up to 3 months. On your arrival into the Slovak Republic, if staying overnight, you will have to register with the local Border and Alien Police before 3 working days have passed. If you will be staying at a hotel, then you will automatically be registered with the Border and Alien Police. Also, you will need to possess a valid and up to date passport. Below are some criteria that should be met regarding your passport before you take your trip to the Slovak Republic.
Passport Validity- Your passport should be valid for a minimum of 6 months. Though the Slovak Republic is in the Schengen territory and will only require a 3 month validation period, other countries that border the Slovak Republic and are not in the Schengen territory may require 6 months validity.
Blank Visa Pages- There should be a minimum of (2) blank visa pages in your passport book when traveling to the Slovak Republic. This will allow for any visa stamps that will be necessary. If there are not sufficient blank visa pages, you may face difficulties during your travel to the Slovak Republic.
Transit Visa- A transit visa is necessary if you will be connecting to a flight in a different country, and that country specifies that it will need a transit visa from travelers who are connecting flights. Inquire about more details with your airline company.
