Slovenia Visa – How To Apply For A Slovenian Visa
Is Slovenia your next destination? You will not need to obtain a Slovenia visa in order to travel Slovenia for up to 90 days on tourism or business purposes. If you wish to stay longer than 90 days within a 6 month period, then you will have to apply for a visa or temporary residency before entering the Schengen territory. Also, before you travel to Slovenia, you should make sure that your current passport is in order and up to date. Below are some recommendations that you should consider before your trip to Slovenia regarding your passport.
Passport Validity- Some countries will require 3 months validation after you depart that country, others will require 6 months. Though countries in the Schengen territory only require 3 months validity after your departure from the Schengen territory, we recommend that you have 6 months validity on your passport when you leave the Schengen territory. This will prevent any difficulties if you wish to travel to neighboring countries that are outside the Schengen territory.
Blank Visa Pages- We recommend that you keep a minimum of (2) blank visa pages in your passport book to avoid any issues and to allow for any necessary visa stamps.
Transit Visa- A transit visa may be needed when you are connecting flights. If you will be connecting flights in a different country, then that country may require a transit visa in order for you to connect flights. You will have to discuss the specifics of your flight with your airline provider.
