Solomon Islands Visa – How To Apply For A Solomon Islander Visa

Is the Solomon Islands the next destination for you? You will not need to obtain a Solomon Islands visa in order to travel to the Solomon Islands for up to 3 months. Upon arrival to the Solomon Islands, United States citizens will be issued a 90-day visitor permit. The United States citizens will have to provide an onward ticket, the capability to enter their next destination, and prove they have sufficient funds. You may face fines if you stay for a longer period of time in the Solomon Islands than you are allowed. Also, you will need to provide a passport that is up to date and in order for your trip to the Solomon Islands. Below are guidelines that should be met regarding your passport.

Passport Validity- Your passport should be valid for 6 months after you depart the Solomon Islands. This will ensure that you do not run into any difficulties while you are traveling to the Solomon Islands.

Blank Visa Pages- Your passport should have at least (2) blank visa pages in it while you travel to the Solomon Islands. This will allow for any visa stamps that will need to be stamped into your passport book. Issues may arise if there are not adequate blank visa pages.

Transit Visa- A transit visa may be required when you connect flights in a different country. Some countries will require travelers to present a transit visa when connecting flights in that country. Ask about the details of your flight prior to going to the Solomon Islands.
