Spain Visa – How To Apply For A Spanish Visa
How about a trip to Spain for your next vacation? You will not need to obtain a Spain visa in order to travel to Spain for up to 3 months for tourism and business purposes. Though Spain does not require you to have a Spain visa, they may request documents such as a return ticket, proof of sufficient funds, hotel accommodations, or letter of invitation. You may be denied entry into Spain if these requested documents cannot be provided. Also, you will need to carry your valid and up to date passport with you when traveling to Spain. Below is a list of guidelines that should be considered regarding your passport.
Validity- Your passport should have a minimum of 6 months validity left on it after you depart Spain. Though Spain is in the Schengen territory and will only require 3-month validity, we recommend you have 6 months to ensure no hassles when traveling to countries outside the Schengen territory.
Visa Pages- It is important to have a minimum of (2) blank visa pages in your passport book when you travel to Spain. This will allow for any needed visa stamps. Issues may arise if this minimum requirement is not fulfilled.
Transit Visa- You will need to obtain a transit visa when connecting flights in some cases. Some countries will require travelers to obtain a transit visa when they stop in that country for a connecting flight. Discuss the details of your trip with your airline provider.
