Sri Lanka Visa – How To Get A Sri Lankan Visa

If you will be staying in Sri Lanka for more than 30 days, you will need to send in documentation to obtain a visa for a stay of more than 30 days in Sri Lanka. Your documents will need to include a Sri Lanka visa application form, your original, signed United States passport with at least 6 months validity, (2) passport photographs, an itinerary of your trip, a current bank statement, and a Personal Letter from the applicant to the Embassy of Sri Lanka explain the purpose and details of the trip.

If traveling to Sri Lanka on business, you will need to provide a Sri Lanka visa application form, your original, signed United States passport with at least 6 months validity, (2) passport photographs, an itinerary of your trip, a business letter, and a business invitation. A Business Invitation should include an introduction of the applicant, describe the nature of the business, and the type of visa and requested validity length. A Business Letter will contain the same information as a Business Invitation, with the addition of the proof of sufficient funds.
