Cape Verde Visa – How To Apply For A Cape Verdean Visa
When you are traveling to Cape Verde, also known as Cabo Verde, a passport from the U.S., as well as a Cape Verde visa are necessary. There are two visa choices available at this time. There is a visa for a one-time entry, which is good for up to 90 days. You can also obtain a visa, which will allow multiple entries and is good for up to five years. Your WHO (World Health Organization) vaccination card should be current. You may need to show this card at any given time.
Applications for this visa may be requested from:
Cabo Verdean Embassy
3415 Massachusetts Avenue, NW
Washington, DC 20007
(202) 965-6820
Cabo Verdean Consulate General
300 Congress Street #204
Quincy, MA 02169

If time does not permit the above options you can also apply for a Cape Verde visa when you arrive at one of their international airports. The fee is approximately $31 in U.S. funds, but this is subject to change. U.S. currency is the preferred method of payment, as credit card processing is not reliable due to intermittent power. Visa credit cards are the only method of credit card payment accepted. American Express and MasterCard are not accepted.
