Singapore Visa – How To Apply For A Singaporean Visa

Will you be traveling to Singapore on your next trip? If so, you will not need to obtain a Singapore visa for up to 3 months for business and tourism purposes. Though a visa is not required for travel to Singapore, you will need to provide a United States passport. Your passport should be up to date and in order before you take your trip to Singapore. Below is a list of guidelines that’s should be followed regarding your passport. These guidelines will help to prevent any difficulties while traveling to Singapore.

Passport Validity- Certain countries will need to see a certain amount of validity after your stay in their country. Some foreign countries will require a 6 month validation period after your stay in their country, and some will require 3 months. Some countries might not require any validation period whatsoever. The validation period will vary from country to country. It is recommended that travelers have a validation period of 6 months on their passport.

Blank Visa Pages- Many countries will require travelers to have a minimum of (2) blank visa pages in their passport books in order to avoid issues while traveling. These blank pages will accommodate and visa stamps that will be necessary.

Transit Visa- Sometimes, a transit visa may be required when connecting flights. Some countries will require a transit visa from travelers if they will be connecting flights in that country. We recommend that you discuss your flight specifics with your Airline Company or travel agency.
