Lakewood Passport Offices – Where to Submit a Passport Application in Lakewood, Colorado

Are you a resident of Lakewood and is ready to get a new passport? In Lakewood, there are different places you can go and submit your documents. The most convenient location is a post office. There is one (1) post office in Lakewood but more in Ocean County.  At the post office, an acceptance agent will package the documents and send it to the processing center. Ask an agent at the post office for assistance. The cost may vary as well. The price for this service is $115.00 for a minor passport and $145.00 for an adult.

Nevertheless, you can get a new passport for any of the reasons mention. It usually takes 2-3 weeks with this option. To obtain approval for expedited service, you must provide proof of international travel. Evidence can be a copy of an itinerary with departure date before four weeks. You will pay $175.00 for a child passport and $205.00 for an adult.

Other Acceptance Facilities

Apart from the post office, there are other sites where a passport application is accepted. They are courthouses, county clerk’s offices, and public libraries. Only routine processing is available at these locations. Like the post office, these locations are not open on Federal Holidays. Also, the sizes of these locations are smaller than the post office. So, most have one agent which can sometimes lead to longer waiting time to apply.
