Raleigh Passport Offices – Where to Submit a Passport Application in Raleigh, North Carolina

Raleigh, North Carolina has a small number of passport offices where U.S. citizens may apply to obtain a new foreign travel passport. Most existing application services have limited hours of operation. Because of the small number of passport offices, and their limited hours, Raleigh residents may need to visit a passport office in a neighboring town. An agent will appraise applications before sending them in to be processed.

Regular passport application processing takes between 4 and 8 weeks. Expedited services can reduce the processing time to 3 weeks or less. An additional fee is required to expedite the process. Applicants who need a passport in two weeks or less may visit the Atlanta, GA passport agency or apply with a registered expediter for faster service.
