Obtaining or ensuring you have a valid passport is the first step to any study abroad trip. Also, in order for a passport to be valid, it must not be expired and also must not expire up to 6 months after you return from your trip. Passports can take about 4-6 weeks to process. Though private and trusted, expedited services are available if there is proof of departing in a short notice.
