I applied at the local post office and completed the process but was told various documents required. Can you assist me in speeding up this process? I really want to travel soon.
Answer: Sadly, we have no way of helping you directly because your application is already in progress. If we were able to assist from the beginning, we were going to provide a list of the various documents required. Once the application is in processing, it is in the hands of the U.S. Passport Agency.
We suggest you collect any correspondence you have requesting various documents. Take these correspondence down to the post office to determine if there is anything else that you left out.
